Ikigai is a Japanese concept that encompasses the idea of finding purpose, joy, and fulfillment in life. It's often described as the intersection of four fundamental elements, which, when combined, create a sense of meaning and satisfaction. These four elements are:

  1. What you love (Passion): This refers to the activities and pursuits that genuinely bring you joy, satisfaction, and a sense of fulfillment. It's about identifying what you are naturally drawn to and what makes you feel enthusiastic.

  2. What you are good at (Profession): This element revolves around your skills, talents, and competencies. It involves recognizing what you excel at and where you have the potential to make a positive impact or contribution.

  3. What the world needs (Mission): This pertains to the aspect of your life that involves serving others, contributing to society, or addressing a need or problem in the world. It's about finding a way to make a meaningful difference that aligns with your passions and strengths.

  4. What you can be paid for (Vocation): This element involves the practical aspect of sustaining yourself financially. It's about identifying how you can turn your passions, skills, and contributions into a viable career or source of income.
